Islamic Concepts of Neo-Social Formation in Subcontinent An Analytical Study of Maulana ʿubaydullah Sindhi and Maulana Wahiduddin Khan’s Ideologies

The Article discusses the Ideologies of Maulana ʿUbaydullah Sindhi (1872-1944) and Maulana Wahiduddin Khan (1925-2021), about the mechanism of Social Formation in Islam. After the decay of Islamic rule in the world, there were many movements emerged with the title of Islam to establish an Islamic Society. The Scholars led that there are four pillars of social formation, first isʾīmān (Faith, Motto, Philosophy, Ideology) means complete awareness of Islamic Teachings, second, is preaching of Islam according to ʾīmān, third is the disciplined party based on workers who accept the teachings by heart and psychologically, Fourth the party works with nonviolence, non-reaction, patience, tolerance during the struggle, As Muhammad (PBUH) responded in Ta’if. These four principles are followed by the great struggle of Muhammad (PBUH) and his companions. During his social formation, he and his companions neither took the law in hand nor forced society to anarchy. He established the state of Madinah with agreements.
