A Study of interrelationship between the Ummah of Ibrahim (a.s.) and the Ummah of Muhammad (a.s.)

Abstract

Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) was sent with the religion of Milat.e.Ibrahim (A.S). Shah Waliullah says that the twenty-six Laws of Milat.e.Ibrahim (A.S) have been preserved in the Ummah Muhammadiyah. Moreover, the Ummah Muhammadiyah has advised to follow the teachings of Milat.e.Ibrahim (A.S). The Ummah Muhammadiyah also has a relative relationship of their prophet (S.A.W.) with the Ibrahim (A.S). AS Allah accepted the prayer of Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) and sent the Last Messenger from his descendants. Secondly, the teachings of Millat.e.Ibrahim were became the part of traditions and customs in Arabs, and Allah continued their some good traditions and customs in Islam, and forbade them from bad habits’.  As Hazrat Ibrahim (A.S) was Hanif. Most of Arabs were also called themselves Hanif. That is why Hazrat Muhammad (S.A.W) was also ordered to be Hanif.
