This research paper presents a comprehensive study of the concept of refugeedom in Islam, its historical and religious causes, and the rights and responsibilities of refugees in the light of the Quran and Hadith. It also provides a detailed analysis of the international duties of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), their practical challenges, and their role in the current global scenario. The study highlights the ethical system of Islam based on human dignity, equality, and piety, and its connection with the global refugee issue. Islamic teachings, especially the guidance of the Prophet ﷺ and relevant Quranic verses, emphasize the protection, support, and importance of international cooperation for refugees, aiming to clarify the true meanings of refugees' issues and make effective solutions possible.
