An Analytical Study of the Religious Literature of the Gospel of Barnabas and Its Evolution in Later Eras
Abstract
The Article discusses the study of the Gospel of Barnabas and its compatibility with Islamic beliefs and teachings. It suggests that the majority of its expressions are in line with the Quran and Islamic religious doctrines, covering topics such as monotheism, prophethood, the finality of prophethood, the issue of the sacrifice of Ismail (Ishmael), and other religious matters.
The article discusses the development and differences of Barnabian thought, a theological school of thinking influenced by the teachings of Saint Paul. While Barnabian thought did not completely disappear in comparison to the thought of Saint Paul, it was taught in Christian schools for a specific period. During this time, Barnabian thought had a significant impact on the minds of people of that era. In the future, numerous Christian leaders promoted Barnabian thought, resulting in the emergence of various Barnabian sects.
