Atheist Perspectives on the Jewish Prophets: An Analytical Overview

Abstract

This study examines the atheist critical perspective on the Prophets of jews. Findings indicate that atheists view biblical texts not as historical records but as literary and mythic constructions shaped over time. Revelation is interpreted as a psychological or social phenomenon and miracles are regarded as symbolic or moral allegories. Ethically, atheists consider many Old Testament commands incompatible with modern humanistic values. Overall, the atheist critique challenges the historical, rational, and moral foundations of the religious narrative, while religious traditions respond through theological and historical counterarguments
